Art Deco and Art Nouveau Style: I was brought up surrounded by beautiful antiques and absorbing their incredible workmanship and design. The two that always stood out for me were Art Deco and Art Nouveau. I love Art Deco for its simple geometric and sophisticated style and Art Nouveau for its beautiful flowing natural lines. I have an inexplicable connection to Egyptian design and its 1920’s revival, from the evil eye to the palmette leaf in their most minimalist form while maintaining their beauty, and using lapis lazuli and turquoise reimagine in a deco style. On the other hand, Art Nouveau’s curving leaves as well as stunning sensual feminine forms drew me in as a designer right from the start.
Drawn to the mystery of Egyptian design and the glamour of its 1920s revival — From the protective symbolism of the evil eye to the timeless elegance of the palmette leaf, I’m endlessly inspired by these ancient forms reimagined in their most minimalist beauty. Rich tones of lapis lazuli and turquoise bring each piece to life — grounding them in history. Jewelry that feels both timeless and modern, created with meaning in every detail.
